Rocky Jordan

Rocky Jordan runs the Cafe Tambourine in the historic district of Cairo, Egypt, an establishment patronized by tourists, adventurers, and ne'er-do-wells from every corner of the globe. Each week, Rocky finds himself embroiled in an adventure that involves "a crime, beautiful woman, and a mystery, or a combination of the three."

The adventures tend to skirt fringes of society and of the law and almost always attract the attention of Cairo police Captain Sam Sabaaya. For the bulk of the show's run, Rocky was portrayed by Jack Moyles, but George Raft took over the role in 1951. Captain Sam Sabaaya was voiced by Jay Novello.

The character of Rocky first appeared in an earlier series, A Man Named Jordan, set in Istanbul, rather than Cairo. Rocky Jordan aired from 1948 to 1951.
