On Stage

On Stage is a half-hour anthology series created by the husband and wife team of Cathy Lewis and Elliot Lewis, prolific and influential figures in the golden age of radio; indeed, they were sometimes referred to as "Mr. and Mrs. Radio." Episodes ranged from adventure to comedy to tragedy and included both original scripts and adaptations of novels and short stories. What they shared was a commitment of excellence seldom that set them apart from many other shows.

Cathy and Elliot Lewis typically voiced the leads in each episode, assisted by a repertoire of many of the great names of the era. Sharing the microphones with them are many of the great names of show business, such as Jeanette Nolan, John Dehner, and William Conrad. The show aired on CBS in 1953 and 54.
