Mr. District AttorneyMr. District Attorney tells the story of District Attorney's crusade against crime. Reputed to have been inspired by New York Governor Thomas Dewey's war against crime and racketeers during his tenure as New York City DA, the series ran from 1939 to 1953, then moved to television in the early 1950s. The series started as a 15-minute serial, then quickly transitioned to 30-minute stand-alone episodes. As was the case with many long-running radio shows, the lead parts were played by multiple performers of the years. Learn more at Wikipedia. Series description provided by Frank Bell. |
