Isaac Asimov

Isaac Asimov was a scientist, a professor of biochemistry, and prolific author of science fiction, fantasy, non-fiction (most science-related) books and stories. He also wrote a smattering of mystery stories. Along with Arthur C. Clark and Robert Heinlein, he was among the giants of science fiction writing in the mid-Twentieth Century.

The shows in this collection represent a mix of American and British adaptations of Asimov stories. Many consider The Foundation Trilogy to be his masterwork, but I've always had a fondness for Pebble in the Sky with its explanation of how the Horace Head nebula got its name.
