Henry Morgan

Henry Morgan was a noted humorist and satirist of the mid-Twentieth Century known for his sharp tongue. His radio show is an unpredictable mix of monologues, skips, and parodies.

Morgan was particularly renowned for taking digs at his sponsors. Bennett Cert, in one of his books (I can't remember which one), reported that sponsors would sign up for his show to demonstrate that they were good sports, only to slink away when Morgan's barbs got too sharp, Cerf reported that he once accused Life Savers of cheating customers by not filling in the hole in the center of the candy.
