Father BrownFather Brown features G. K. Chesterton's famous detecting parish priest as he solves puzzles large and small. Diffident in demeanor an hesitant in manner, Father Brown nevertheless has a knack for noticing details that others (including, in one episode, a very pretentious and overbearing Sherlock Holmes) overlook. The character of Father Brown is based on Father John O'Connor, the priest who was instrumental in converting Chesterton to Catholicism.
