Crime DoctorDr. Benjamin Ordway, once a criminal mastermind, suffered an amnesia attack and became the Crime Doctor. Using his medical knowledge to grasp clues that the police overlook or misinterpret, he unlocks the mystery. Crime Doctor shows more attention to rehabilitation efforts than was common at the day. In the first two seasons, Dr. Ordway was a member of a parole board. Subsequently, he assisted the police of official connections. The creator of the series had been a police reporter for the New York World newspaper, long since defunct.
