Aunt Jemima

Inspector West was one of many characters created by John Creasey, prolific author of over 500 mystery and crime novels. In the late 1960s, several of the Inspector West novels were serialized for radio, including the ones in this collection.

Inspector West's tales are more suspenseful than those of many storied English detectives, such as Hercule Poirot, Gideon Fell, or Paul Temple. West is happily married and his wife, Janet, plays a significant role in the stories, frequently coming into danger from West's antagonists, such as the mysterious Korosian.
