The Anderson Family

The Anderson Family is a typical American family situation comedy. The half-hour episodes feature a good-hearted, but bull-headed dad who can never foresee the consequences of his actions; a wise mother who's always trying to warn her husband that he's headed for disaster; and son who is smart beyond his years. What's atypical is that it's one of the better shows of this type.

The cast included Dick Lane as the father, Louise Arthur as the mother, and Walter Tetley, who had a long career doing children's voices, as their son. Many persons reading this may remember Tetley as the voice of Mr. Peabody's boy, Sherman.
