Adventures in Research


Adventures in Research was a 15-minute show that told stories of research and invention. The show ran on the Westinghouse Broadcasting Network (Group W) stations frp, 1942 to the mid-1950s. Originally targeted towards a younger audience, it was popular among both children and adults.

The show used varied formats, including narration, dramatization, question and answer sessions, and interviews with scientists, often from the staff of the Westinghouse Corporation's Westinghouse Research Laboratories. This show remains relevant to anyone interested in the history of science and industry.
