Hearing the old radio advertisements included along with these shows brings me back to my childhood times in the 1970's. I remember contentedly listening to the old radio programs and how much it helped me to pass the hour or half an hour away with wonder and amusement in a beneficial way Smile So far, I've heard the old 'State Farm' life insurance jingle, and I look forward to re-discovering many more radio advertisements too Smile

Sometimes I like them and sometimes I find them intrusive. The Mounds and Almond Joy ads in most of the Alien Worlds episodes from the late '70s were cute at first, but then they quickly got old.

That said, one of my favorite radio ads from that era is "The Raving," a Roto-Rooter spot that parodied Poe's "The Raven". It ran at the end of CBSRMT in the late '70s and early '80s.

I love listening to CBSRMT and hearing some of the news broadcasts from back in the day. I was only a little kid, but I remember a lot of the happenings from back then.
