Peter sent us a British comedy called "Steptoe and Son". It's in the 003_British folder.
Thanks Peter!

| If you've ever looked closely at the closing credits of the classic American TV sitcom Sanford and Son, you'll notice it's based on Steptoe and Son. Other classic American sitcoms from the '70s that have British roots include: All in the Family, based on the British show 'Til Death Do Us Part and Three's Company, based on the British show A Man About the House. The Fox network even did a TV movie of Doctor Who as a pilot for an Americanized version of the classic British science fiction series. Thankfully, it wasn't picked up. There are some things that just shouldn't be Americanized. |
