I am doing some research from Billboard magazine and in 1942 they began printing reviews of new radio programs.

I never knew that Danny Thomas (Danny Thomas Show) and Jim Backus (Jim Backus Show) among others had their own radio programs in 1942... I knew both gents were on radio a lot but didn't know they had their own shows.

There also some shows with some odd names/premises ("I Hate Hollywood": this was a show that only found bad stuff to say about Hollywood. "Show Without a Name" : I think this was just musica but come on, come up with a name already!)

I'll be finished soon with 1942 (I will be linking each show from 1942 to 1962 to the Billboard reviews) - hope you will drop by my blog in a couple of days to see what I've cooked up.
