I used to fill out these silly surveys all the time and post them in my journal. They were really long, and let people inside your head a little.
I thought it might be fun to do something like that here, something short, five questions. You don't *have* to answer them. I'll be fair and post my answers in the next post. (and hey if you want to ask your own set of questions, that would be cool too. Kind of an ongoing twenty questions sort of wackiness)
1. Where are you from?
2. What is your favorite movie?
3. What is the ringtone on your mobile?
4. What is one food you could not live without?
5. Do you collect anything, besides OTR shows? |

1. I was born in a tiny town in the Adirondacks of New York State, called Corinth. I moved away to go to college and have lived in PA, Texas, and Minnesota since. I live in Southern PA now and we hope to stay put.
2. I don't really know how to pick a favorite. If it is black and white and old, I will probably like it, but I don't actually watch a lot of movies.
3. I don't have a mobile phone.
4. I really like spaghetti. When my husband became diabetic, I thought I had to give it up for him to be healthy, but I have figured out how to fix it so he can eat it, too.
5. I seem to be collecting old tv shows, too. |

Howdy
Most of the old anchors I find I donate to the Lake Erie Ship Wreck Museum. They use them for displays, I do keep a few for very decorative lawn ornaments. I know it sounds strange but I like the way they look plus some of them are over 100 years old. I've even sold a few of the real big ones.
Thanks for your time - Kevin (aquaholic) |

You say you find them. Are you a diver?

I would say I'm more of a driver then a diver. I just drive the boat.
I have a charter service and some people that charter my boat go scuba diving and shipwreck exploring.
So when they find a anchor I drop a line and winch it up. I then take the anchors to the Lake Erie Shipwreck Museum and then they determine if I can keep it or not.

Kevin,
That's a darn fine thing to do. Good for you! Where do you drive the boat? I suppose you live in a nice warm climate somewhere. We just had 5 inches of snow last night in IL. I had the snow blower going this morning.

I hope not. Just think of the shipping cost. Probably $500 per anchor

Hi Brad
Actually I'm close to you there in IL, I'm in Put in Bay - Ohio of course the Boating season is over but we had a very long boating season this year and it's good to have the break. We had about a foot of snow today and we went to the Browns game which was interesting.
NO, I DO NOT BUY MY ANCHORS FROM EBAY They won't fit in the mailbox.
I will have all winter to listen to all of the great shows on the website. Just downloaded the Chuck Wagon Jamboree (TY Cat freak) they are really good.

I have some friends who live in Sandusky . . . and I'm just a tick over 100 miles away from you . .

Howdy neighbor, 100 miles that is practically down the street
Spring, Summer & Fall - Put-in-Bay is paradise, but winter is not so good.
Sandusky is real nice, go there often in the summer and dock up at the Cedar Point Marina for some Roller Coaster Fun!

I've had too many strokes and heart attacks for my Dr to allow me on roller coasters anymore . . .
About the wildest things I'm cleared to do is go smelt dipping at Pt Pelee . . .
