Am I mistaken or wasn't Suspense originally on MysteryShows.com ?
Hope it wasn't a copyright thing...
Here is a site devoted only to Escape and Suspense
http://www.escape-suspense.com/
Interesting info there...

I had to move some of the stuff into the members directory. You'll find them there. I'm walking a fine line between running out of bandwidth and giving out free shows. If I use more than my share of bandwidth, I think the site might just get shut down until the first of the next month. If my hosting company will just let me pay for extra bandwidth, I'll just pay it. Some places don't do that though, they just shut you down.

They must be between one stage and the next.
I don't see them in either place at the moment... _________________ tuned in from down under |

Mike,
Escape is in the members directory. I forgot to move Suspense when I changed the link. It's there now.

People . . if you want to help Brad conserve bandwidth, please turn your download managers OFF!!
Personally, my collection has gotten to the point that the only downloading I do is when I see 'juicy' files (80kbps or larger) or something very unusual . . . I have 3 or 4 sets of most of the 'common' programs
This is why Brad shouldn't purchase any more programs . . we can 'hook you up' my friend!

Victor and Brad...no, we don't want to start "juggling things around" here!
Brad...have been busy downloading the Charlie Chan movies...did you say you had about 30+ of them? I noticed you had some of the later ones, as well...not with Oland or Toler. _________________ Gil |

I've got 37 total. I think they all have Oland or Tolor in them. They should all be up now.

Suspense and Escape episodes are also available at http://www.archive.org/details/oldtimeradio. Be careful when you go into Archive, though. There's so much good stuff there, you could get lost for a very long time and fill up a hard drive or two in the process |

I had to put my XP in the shop, for repair. Seems I can't access programs now. They said I had too many programs loading, on startup....and it was slowing down my system. They also said I might have picked up a virus, or even some malware. It is going through diagnostics, now. They will call me when they find the cause. They said they didn't think my HD had gone out. Presently, I am using my laptop.
I downloaded the Archive Downloader, and it makes downloading a LOT easier...plus I like the way the files are tagged. It has all the info you need for them...episode number, date, complete title. etc. I think I had downloaded "Suspense" (all dated folders on Archive)....so won't do those again. I'm only downloading those things I don't have.
Brad...where are the Oland and Toler (Charlie Chan) located...in the download area? I presume these are movies (AVI)? _________________ Gil |
