Has anyone tried the new talking ipod yet? What do you think about it. Is anyone planing to get one anytime soon?

My daughter just got an ipod touch for graduation. She seems to like it a lot. No hard drive, only 8GB of solid state memory but should be more resistant to shocks and drops.
