I just got this email from a club member the other day. I was so glad to hear someone was getting this much enjoyment out of these great old shows. I really like to hear from the members and find out how they're doing and what shows they are listening to.

Dear Mr. Webmaster Brad:
The word "thanks" just doesn't express how wonderful a service Mystery Shows provide. there are, indeed, thousands upon thousands of shows of all different generas and types.
The first show to which I listened was the one about the "ice king--Richard Tudor.
Next I heard an adventure of the Sea Hound. I'd never heard of that old time radio before.
After that I delved into a whole basketful of the Lone Ranger. That was DELICIOUS___
Pardon me while I don my parka for a trip to check up on the whereabouts of Sergeant Preston's horse Rex and his wonder dog Yukon King--fastest and strongest lead dog of the Northwest
Thanks again for opening up a retroworld of adventure, drama, mystery and fantasy among other treasures.
Sincerely,
Patrick M.
p.s. You may have my permission to use this letter in whatever way you wish.

| Frankly I agree with him Brad. The shows are great entertainment and you do do a great job with the site. My favorite OTR is Dragnet but there are such a variety of shows to listen to each special in its own way that you are always assured of being entertained. |

I commented to my wife the other day that one of the reasons I enjoy listening to OTR shows is that there is no cursing, and most of the comedy that we can listen to is clean fun. I am no prude, but it is nice to be able to listen to something that you wouldn't be embarrassed to listen to in front of other folks.
Frankly, I am tired of a lot of the trash on television these days. |

I agree with you about the OTR humor being funny. I think people who try to be on comedy tv shows today have forgotten what funny is. I can't waste my time on that garbage, so I am very thankful for these old shows.
