INNER SANCTUM 1946-4-23 "Make Ready My Grave".
Ths is one of those archetypal creepy-old-house radio thrillers -- full of cliche lines but impossible to switch off once you begin listening.
John Loomis brings his new bride to the family mansion, where she discovers the secret of the family curse and the strangled wives. Richard Widmark, Joan Banks.
Himan Brown directs from a script by Emile Tepperman that makes the Addams family sound like the Waltons!
You'll need a strong cup of Lipton tea after this one. _________________ tuned in from down under |

INNER SANCTUM 41-12-21 (#51) “The Man from Yesterday”
A gorilla is captured by an expedition and brought back to America, but there seems to be a connection between it and its captor - a connection that transcends time and space.
Well done but unusually philosophical horror story, sort of a cross between King Kong and Rider Haggard. _________________ tuned in from down under |

Thanks Victor. The sound on my copy of "The Man from Yesterday" gets a bit mushy at the end. _________________ tuned in from down under |
