Edwin has just donated a series of sci-fi shows called Mindwebs. Here is his description of the series.

MindWebs--an almost psychedelic science fiction series from the
late '70s. Not full dramatizations but dramatic readings with
excellent sound effects and way-out music (97 episodes)

"The Word" & "Stair Trick" 1977-11-04

Reading of two science-fiction short stories from the Mildred Clingerman collection A Cupful of Space.

The first story is one of those overly cute stories with what is supposed to be a surprise ending. Barely passable I guess.

The second story "Stair Trick" is better -- a nice little fantasy about a lonely bartender who breaks up boring nights in the bar with a magic trick where he pretends to go downstairs to a non-existent wine cellar...

Good readings. Not a show I've ever heard before, but they seem to have had an interesting taste in stories selected.

A lot of familiar authors are represented here.
