Hello to everybody. I am new here but not to OTR, since I began collecting as early as 1962, at age 20. I was a founding member of the Cincinnati, Ohio, Old Time Radio Club in 1978 - still going strong.
There is extant a fragment of an EVEREADY HOUR broadcast from 1928, the only bit of an actual broadcast known to survive. (Performers on that famous program of course appear on commercial records of the period, including THE EVEREADY ORCHESTRA under Nat Shilkret.)
I have a link to an FM radio station which supposedly holds the fragment in its archives, but linking to the program at that site merely gives me the station's live feed.
Can anyone here suggest another source? This is one of the few surviving 1920s radio programs that I don't have.
Thanks! |
