THE SHADOW 37--11-28 episode #10 "Circle of Death"
I don't know about you, but a lot of the later episodes of The Shadow are so predictable and formulaic that they don't hold a lot of interest for me. I much prefer the original pulp novels with their incredibly convoluted and atmospheric stories.
But I do like the early episodes where Orson Welles and Agnes Moorehead star.
Long before the word terrorist was coined, the Mad Bomber was a fixture in crime dramas. Here Lamont Cranston is on the trail of a lunatic who blows people up at random in the heart of the city. (A timeless plot, unfortunately)
Nice creepy atmosphere. _________________ tuned in from down under |
