JACK BENNY 1949-01-02 -- First show at CBS

Jack is nervous about doing the show on CBS for the first time, and we follow his trip to the studio where we meet up with all the regulars from the series.

There's an amusing cameo for Amos & Andy ("You say he didn't do anything funny? It's like I told you, he'd be nothing without Rochester!").

Lots of smiles and a couple of laugh-out-loud moments here.

[Mary's reference to Jack having a million dollars in his vault made me wonder if this is where Carl Barks got the idea for Uncle Scrooge's money bin...]
