There are now far more Sherlock Holmes by modern writers than there were by Conan Doyle. These range from mediocre to quite good, though I certainly haven't heard them all.
This series is one of the better ones, I thought -- and for once it's even formally approved by the Doyle estate.
SHERLOCK HOLMES - The Adventure of the Improbable Snowman [January 2008]
Episode 81 of "The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes." A peaceful Christmas dinner in the country is what Holmes and Watson are looking forward to until an odd death with an even odder witness interrupt the day. A husband and wife accuse each other of murder and a patronising detective assures Holmes that the psychological method is what he needs.
Nice pastiche from the Jim French studio's Imagination Theater.
