Victor (our friend who loves cats) was kind enough to donate 106 episodes of "Have Gun Will Travel". 128k, real high quality. They are in the members directory.
All of the regular posters here get a free membership. If you haven't received yours yet, let me know.
Thanks Victor!

Brad...there is a website that features most, if not all, of the HGWT TV episodes, with Richard Boone. I've been slowly downloading these. These come in the RAR format, and there are about 3-4 files for each episodes.
I also enjoy the radio version, with John Dehner. _________________ Gil |

HAVE GUN WILL TRAVEL 1960-01-10 "The Lonely One"
I grew up watching the television series, but I think John Dehner is perfectly acceptable as Paladin.
Allowances will have to be made for the sub-plot involving Paladin's two Chinese servants, which is there mostly for light relief since this is a very grim subject otherwise.
In an unusual plot for radio, the female protagonist is driven to suicide by her feelings of loneliness. How did they get that past the CBS censor? I was under the impression that people killing themselves tended to make the censor nervous - it certainly does in more recent days where the authorities worry about the copycat tendecies of less stable members of the public. _________________ tuned in from down under |
