| Does anybody know where I can find an mp3 file (audiobook or OTR Show) of "The Day of the Triffids"? For something so often cited as a landmark publication, it sure has been eluding my attempts to locate an audio copy. It shows up on the master list on this site, but not on the member's download page. I know where I can get it on e-books, but I'd like to listen to it while someone else does the reading! It's inconceivable that it never got on the radio, unless maybe there were copyright issues. Thanks to anybody who can help me out here... may you never be troubled by triffids! |

THANK YOU! I had resigned myself to searching through the files one at a time until I found it, but I would have skipped right over the BBC! Thank you for making my day, and saving me a bunch of time.

.
That was the first science fiction paperback I ever bought, after hearing it on the radio about 1960.
So John Wyndham is to blame for the way I spent the next 20 years! _________________ tuned in from down under |

1960 was 52 years ago. Why did you stop reading Sci-Fi after only 20 years???? |

Ah me, why indeed.
I don't seem to be able to concentrate on my reading so much nowadays. Maybe my eyes aren't as good, or it's just TMB [Too Many Birthdays]. _________________ tuned in from down under |
