There is an amazing 75 minute interview with Stan Laurel that's conducted by Dr Arthur B. Friedman on August the 14th 1957, just a few days after the death of oliver hardy.This is from a programme called TURNING POINT.
The quality is fabulous and the interview thoroughly fascinating. It's made clear during the interview that Friedman conducted many interviews with big names of the day for the show and try as I have, I have not located any other shows.
Does anyone know of the existance and availability of any more of these wonderful programmes? |

Thanks Waxy! Yeah it's a mystery where they are and why the Stan Laurel one has survived in such good condition when the others are elusive.
He spoke with the likes of Bronco Billy Anderson, Buster Keaton etc and I'd love to hear more. |
