I recently became a member of the Mystery Shows Club and I think the club and the site are great.
While looking at the site, I came across the section where recordings of the many interviews Richard Lamparsky did with people from the golden age of radio are posted.
The program, Whatever Became Of, was originally broadcast on WBAI in New York City in the 1960s. I believe it aired weekly.
I was wondering if Mr. Lamparsky is still with us and when did the program come to an end? |

.
That doesn't seem to be an easy question to answer.
I've seen some episodes of his show listed with dates as late as 1978, and he published a book Manhattan Diary in 2006.
After that the trail goes cold. Anybody else have more recent news? _________________ tuned in from down under |
