A really good thriller that will keep you on your toes. |

I have gone through the whole series. They are all very good for the most part. What really got me were the sound effects which are awesome. Ranking of the shows:
Apr 02, 1984 1 "The Ravine" – Excellent - scary
Apr 09, 1984 2 "Night Call, Collect" – Very Good -Freaky
Apr 16, 1984 3 "The Veldt" - Excellent - listen to the sound effects
Apr 23, 1984 4 "There Was An Old Woman" - Excellent
Apr 30, 1984 5 "Kaleidoscope" – Very Good - awesome sound
May 07, 1984 6 "Dark They Were and Golden Eyed" - Great Story
May 14, 1984 7 "The Screaming Woman" - Excellent - scary & fun
May 21, 1984 8 "A Sound Of Thunder" - Excellent - Time travel story
May 28, 1984 9 "The Man" – Really good – Biblical
Jun 04, 1984 10 "The Wind" – Good and scary
Jun 11, 1984 11 "The Fox In The Forest" – Excellent – many twists
Jun 18, 1984 12 "Here There Be Tigers" – Great- Space travel
Jun 25, 1984 13 "The Happiness Machine" – OK not the best of them

Yes, the production values on Bradbury 13 are excellent. I love Ray Bradbury's work and this show captures its essence beautifully. I only wish there were more than just 13 episodes, like maybe 451? My personal favorite episode is "Kaleidescope".
If you like Bradbury 13, there was also a TV series called Ray Bradury Theatre . Done in the mid-'80s and early '90s. It was a little on the low budget side in terms of production values, but more often than not, the storytelling makes up for it. |
