Can anyone tell me the name of this story?
A long time ago, I heard an old time radio story about a man that had a trunk that contained his dead wife's body. He kept hearing her voice saying something like "...I'm staying for good" throughout the story. He tried to bury the chest in the yard so nobody would find it. He also tried to ship it off to some other country. Somehow, he found out the trunk the was in an auction and nobody had opened because they didn't have the key. In order to avoid someone else buying it and discovering her remains, he bought the trunk. As he was trying to drag it down some steep steps outside the auction building, he heard her voice that said something like "...I'm staying for good". Then he fell and the chest fell on top of him and somehow killed him. In the end, all that was in the trunk was a lot of books. |

| Thanks a lot Britt! I have been looking for that episode for so long. Since you told me it was a part of "The Mysterious Traveler" series, I was able to find another episode that I was looking for: "Operation Tomorrow". Thanks again! |
