As many of you know, I scour the old papers and magazines all over the web looking for OTR news for my website.

One thing that has come to my attention is the comic strips have familiar names: from OTR.

I'm going to post a full 1943 comic section from a Milwaukee paper and point out how many are also OTR programs:



Bringing Up Father = otr
Jungle Jim = otr
Flash Gordon = otr



Blondie = otr



none



Believe it or Not = otr (2 different runs)



The Lone Ranger = OTR

Before 1943, there were many others, most we haven't ever heard of.

Just a sample of the kind f stuff I do over at my blog. Have a look-see if you haven't yet.
