I have a vision of listening to OTR programs only on the day of the week they were broadcast.
What I want to know is, where on the internet can I find this information? |

Maybe search google for "old time radio station logs" or something like that. Might be hard info to find. Not sure.

Thank you for the suggestion Brad. So far, not much luck. Lots of logs but no "schedule."
However, during my search, I found a very fascinating web site that I am sure we can all use!
Check out: http://radiogoldindex.com/
An almost-complete database of individual OTR programs! I have had my nose stuck in it ever since I found it, just an hour or so ago.
Have fun! |

Below, find my own "leg work."
I know it's not 100% accurate, I did this over a few hours and a little research. I know shows often changed days and networks; I hope you will look past that.
Actually, I made this for myself. The programs listed here are ones *I* listen to. Just posting this hoping one/some of you can get some use out of it too. I have definite plans for this:

Thanks guys. It was a bit of work but I just got right on it.
Looks like Sunday was a big day for westerns!
Also notice how "slow" Saturdays were for shows that left any impact.
Anyway, I hope someone can use the list.
I also have plans to dig up a bunch of OTR advertisements and post them all in one place... but that's in the future. |
